Title: Facility Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Responsible for: Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Sales Manager, Maintenance Manager, Safety Manager, Office Manager, HR Manager and Attractions Manager.

Job Summary: Successful candidate will oversee, direct, and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, and managing daily operations.

Activities and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Facility/Attractions

Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Adventure Park.
Supervise the daily operations of buildings and facilities.
Look after all basic requirements of facility like cleanliness, security, and safety and maintenance.
Monitor maintenance and repair to evaluate work progress, process, and quality; resolve work problems; determine additional needs; assure continuous support and follow-up for all facilities.
Coordinate activities between all departments for smooth and efficient implementation of service initiatives and operational updates.
Review, complete and maintain a variety of checklists and reports regarding facility, attractions maintenance, and safety inspections.
Monitor compliance and safety regulations regarding facility maintenance and attractions.
Attend weekly meetings with Director of Operations to discuss and follow-up on all items discussed in prior meetings and those that are directly/related to the company objectives.
Team

Work with HR to hire staff for Adventure Park and assign them duties according to their capabilities.
Identify training needs and initiate development of all team members.
Plan, direct, coordinate, supervise and review the work of employees in their assigned locations in customer service, attractions, security and maintenance.
Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures to team members.
Work with the team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Assist with planning and implementation of events and company meetings as required.
Achieve company objectives in service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation, and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Recommend and enforce safety guidelines.
Guest Experience

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the employees and guests.
Investigate and resolve complaints from guests
See that all guests are following Guest Policy while visiting Adventure Park and assisting employees with any guests who may be in violation of this policy.
Financials

Supervises the functions of all sales and costs to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
Monitor and oversee budget of each department, manage expenses, and maximize profit
Attends weekly meeting with Director of Operations to go over finances, operations, and address any concerns.
Physical Demands

Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or listen. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

2+ years with Management experience. Demonstrate track record of managing others effectively. Ability to effectively train and retain employees. Excellent organization skills, project management, and communication skills. Willingness to show leadership and guidance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with excellence and have a “can do” attitude!
